The Shri Shiv Lilamrut consists of 14 chapters and a total of 2,453 ovis. It holds a significant place among Marathi devotees of Lord Shiva, many of whom recite it daily. Composed by the esteemed poet-saint Shri P.P Shridhar Swami in Baramati during the year 1718, this work reflects his deep devotion and literary talent. Born Shridhar Narayan Shastri Nazarekar in 1658 in the village of Nazare, Solapur District, he later moved to Pandharpur at the age of 20. There, he devoted himself to kirtanas and pravachans concerning the Puranas. Harivijay was his first literary work; Shri ShivLilamrit was his sixth and final composition.
